Description

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra performed a musical salute titled, "A Bernstein Birthday Celebration," on the eve of his 70th birthday on Wednesday, August 24, 1988. This concert was part of the Summer in the City Festival. As a part of the celebration, an oversized birthday card for Leonard Bernstein was signed and on display for the event.
